User Portal Guide¶
This guide explains how end users access and use SPSA to connect to remote systems.
Accessing SPSA¶
Login¶
- Open your web browser
- Navigate to:
https://spsa.yourdomain.com/ - Enter your credentials:
- Username: Your assigned username
- Password: Your password
- Click Login
Multi-Factor Authentication¶
If MFA is enabled, you'll need to complete additional verification:
- Open your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, etc.)
- Enter the 6-digit code shown in the app
- Click Verify
Home Screen¶
After logging in, you'll see your available connections:
- Connections are displayed as tiles or a list
- Click on a connection to start a remote session
- Use the search to filter connections (if many are available)
Connecting to Systems¶
Start a Connection¶
- Click on a connection from the home screen
- The remote session opens in your browser
- If prompted, enter credentials for the target system
Credentials
Your SPSA login may be different from the target system credentials. If you don't know the target credentials, contact your administrator.
RDP Sessions (Windows)¶
- Full Windows desktop in your browser
- Use keyboard and mouse as normal
- Special keys available through the menu (Ctrl+Alt+Shift)
SSH Sessions (Linux/Unix)¶
- Terminal interface in your browser
- Type commands as normal
- Copy/paste supported
VNC Sessions¶
- Graphical desktop in your browser
- Mouse and keyboard input supported
Session Controls¶
Menu Access¶
Press Ctrl+Alt+Shift to open the SPSA menu during a session.
Available Controls¶
| Control | Function |

| Clipboard | Transfer text between local and remote |
| Keyboard | On-screen keyboard for special keys |
| Disconnect | End the session |
Clipboard¶
To copy text between your local system and the remote session:
- Press Ctrl+Alt+Shift to open menu
- Use the clipboard panel to paste/copy text
- Text is then available in both systems
Ending Sessions¶
Log Off Properly¶
Always log off from the remote system when finished:
- Windows: Start > Sign out
- Linux: exit command or logout
Disconnect¶
If you need to disconnect without logging off:
- Press Ctrl+Alt+Shift
- Click Disconnect
Or simply close the browser tab.
Troubleshooting¶
| Issue | Solution |
|---|---|
| Cannot connect | Check your network connection |
| Wrong credentials | Verify username/password for target system |
| Session disconnects | Check network stability, reconnect |
| Slow performance | Try reducing browser zoom level |
